As we grow up, we lose touch with our innate wisdom about how to eat.
We’re influenced by the culture we live in - toxic diet culture, if you grew up anywhere like I did!
We’re taught to fear food and see our bodies as flawed.
We start to mistrust our bodies and we ignore or override our internal cues.
Reality check - you do not need to feel guilty about eating - ever!
There is nothing healthy about obsessing over food and hating your body!
I believe that health includes having a healthy relationship with food and body.
All bodies deserve dignity, respect, care and nourishment.
I reject the idea that health comes in a ‘size’.
You do not need to buy into diet culture’s messages about what health looks like.
You already have all the wisdom you need to be the expert of YOUR BODY.
You just need to learn to tune in and listen.
